Melissa has been a mental health counselor at several hospitals in the Chicagoland area since 2013. She received her bachelor’s in social work/philosophy from Lewis University and master’s in social work from Chicago State University. Melissa served as a Medical Social Worker and an Emergency Room Crisis Counselor for over five years in each capacity. As a licensed clinical social worker, Melissa has provided therapy to children, adults, and families as well as life coaching to a variety of people at risk or in need.

Melissa enjoys helping people and empowering them to find the best in every situation. Melissa finds comfort in working with children and enjoys their innocence and willingness to be vulnerable and understand various life's challenges when properly explained to them. Melissa enjoys traveling, baking, and exposing herself to new cultures or ways of life through food and experiences. Melissa is ready to guide you in adopting a new outlook on life.
