Marriage and Family Therapist
Deloy has been a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002. Working with youth, teens, young adults, individuals and families is her passion. Her counseling philosophy is supportive, collaborative, and proactive. She believes in the science of biopsychology and appreciates the unique opportunities that accompany the neurodivergent population and their families. Using theoretical modalities derived from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution Focus, and Family Systems Therapy, Deloy listens, provides feedback and partners with you to find peace.
She began her career in 1995 as a counselor and family liaison for wards of the court. From there she acquired licensure in 2002 and became an onsite mental health counselor at a charter school serving middle and high school youth. In 2008, Deloy began her role as a pediatric behavioral therapist for Dignity Health where she counseled youth and families experiencing social/emotional/behavioral challenges accompanying anxiety, depression, ADHD, and ASD. She opened for private practice in 2012 and began working for Cortica in 2023. Deloy holds a Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from Cal State East Bay and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She believes that every human is unique and deserves to have a quality life with fulfilling relationships. Deloy looks forward to guiding you on your journey of self-discovery and problem solving.
