Beth Johnson, MD, FAAP
Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician
As a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Beth Johnson is committed to improving the health and well-being of children with developmental conditions by giving thoughtful attention to the needs of the child and family. At Cortica, she leads a team of caring and compassionate professionals who strive to address the underlying conditions that may be negatively impacting a child’s development. Dr. Johnson believes it’s vital to work closely with the family to develop strategies that will strengthen their child’s capabilities and build new ones.
Before joining Cortica, Dr. Johnson was a staff pediatrician at the Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota where she was a strong advocate for children and families. From diagnosis to treatment plans to follow-up care, to education, Dr. Johnson worked closely with her team to bring high-quality care and services to children with exceptional medical needs.
Dr. Johnson’s passion for pediatrics centers around the relational aspect with families. She loves walking beside families – from early childhood through adolescence – to see her patients grow, develop, learn new skills, and overcome illness or developmental challenges. She finds an incredible resilience in her patients and strives to help both patients and families achieve their greatest potential.
Dr. Johnson completed her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics internship and residency from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She also served as third-year chief resident.
