Maia is the Clinical Trials Manager for the Cortica Innovation Network. In this role, she has led the start-up, implementation, and close-out of several pharmaceutical and therapeutic device trials in the realm of neurodevelopment. Prior to this, she was the research coordinator for an NIH-sponsored collaboration between Cortica and the University of California, San Francisco, using magnetic resonance imaging to identify neuroanatomical differences in children with sensory processing disorders. She received her bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology and Disability Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
